Home and Gardens Tour for Bethesda House
Join us Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. to tour the beautiful and historic private home and gardens of Sister and George Barnes. The event will benefit Bethesda House of Alabama, the only nationally accredited emergency services shelter in the State of Alabama for women and children who are escaping domestic violence or sex trafficking.
Founder of Sister Schubert’s Homemade Rolls, Sister is recognized nationally not only as a successful businesswoman, but for her community and philanthropic contributions. Experience beautiful Georgian Architecture as you tour the private residence and meet and greet Sister and her special guest Brenda Gantt, who is known by millions for her social media videos “Cooking with Brenda Gantt”. Through her Facebook and YouTube videos, Brenda has taught her followers not only the art of Southern cooking, but the importance of faith in her Christian life.
This is your chance to meet both Sister and Brenda and purchase a personally signed copy of each of their cookbooks. In addition, a group of local artisans will be on-site to offer unique items for purchase. Some of these vendors include:
Alan Cotton, Alan Cotton Flowers
Brenda Gantt, author It’s Gonna be Good Y’all and Linger Around the Table Y’all Cookbooks
